The women of our country still lag far behind the women of developed countries in the use of sanitary napkins. So Jaipur Cooperative and Agricultural Development Association came forward to make women aware of the use of napkins.

It may be mentioned here that a few days ago, the project of distributing cheaply subsidized sanitary napkins to girls through Asha workers was started in every area of the state at the initiative of the health department of the state government.

The project also includes plans to include students enrolled in the state government’s Kanyashree Scheme (West Bengal Kanyashree Scheme) in the future. In addition, the state government has introduced a subsidy scheme of up to 9 percent on bank loans taken from self-help groups.
