Har Ghar Tiranga campaign 2023
The Tiranga flag of our country India is the national flag. It has three colors along with Ashoka Chakra. The three colors are saffron, white, and green and in the center is the Ashoka Chakra made of blue.
This year Amrit Mahotsav is being organized on the 75th anniversary of the country’s independence. On this occasion, PM Modi has appealed to all citizens to hoist the flag at their homes from 13 to 15 August 2023.
The Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan will increase the respect and affinity for patriotism and the flag among the citizens of the country. The Tiranga flag was adopted as the national flag for the first time on 22 July 1947.
Under this campaign, more than 20 crore people will hoist flags in their homes between August 13 and 15 with public participation. This will also apply to government and private establishments. Nodal officers have also been appointed for this.

How to Download Har Ghar Tiranga Certificate?
- First of all, you have to go to its official website https://harghartiranga.com/.
- The home page of the website will open in front of you,
- Here you have to fill in some of your general information and click on Next.
- Here you have to click on the Pin A Flag option.
- On clicking, Google Map will open in front of you, here first of all you have to select your location and then click on the Pin A Flag option.
- There will be a Tiranga Pin at your location and a har Ghar Tiranga certificate will come in front of you.
- Now by clicking on the ‘Download Certificate’ option, you can also download this certificate on your mobile phone or share it with anyone and if you want, you can print it from any shop and frame it.
Know the rules related to hoisting the Tiranga
An appeal has been made by the Prime Minister to all the citizens of our country that all the countrymen should hoist the Tiranga flag in their homes. And it is an honor for the Patriots to do so. The national flag should not be torn or dirty.
The Tiranga flag should be made of khadi, cotton, or silk. The use of plastic flags is prohibited.
It should be given a respectable place when the flag is hoisted. That is, hoist it in such a place where it is clearly visible.
Nothing should be written or printed on the flag.
No other flag/ensign can be placed above or parallel to the national flag.
The flag can be flown at half-mast only on the occasion of national mourning, otherwise not.
If the flag is flown horizontally or diagonally from a window, balcony, or front side of a building, the flag can be raised and lowered with the sound of a trumpet.
If it is mounted on an officer’s vehicle, the flag can be placed on the right side of the vehicle or just in the middle.
When hoisting the flag on the stage, keep in mind that when the speaker’s face is towards the audience, the flag should be on his right side.
The flag can be hoisted on the government building on Sundays and on other holidays only between sunrise and sunset.
With special occasions and rules, the Tiranga flag can also be flown at night.
When hoisting the flag, always hoist it with enthusiasm and when taking it off, take it down respectfully. The flag should be hoisted and lowered with the sound of a bugle.
