Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS) is an autonomous body of higher education under the Government of West Bengal. JBNSTS Scholarship Examination for students studying Science in West Bengal funded by the Department of Science Technology and Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal.

JBNSTS Junior Talent Search Test / Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship is given to students of Secondary Examination / Equivalent CGPA Examination or Equivalent Tenth Level (Basic Sciences).
This JBNSTS Junior Talent Search Test / Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship helps students financially. Students are also given exposure to various types of Seminars, Workshops, Scientific projects collaborated by the Scientific community, etc. A scholarship certificate will be given to the successful student.
(a) Eligibility for Junior Talent Search Test / Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti
Applicants for JBNSTS Junior Talent Search Test / Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship pass Secondary Examination / Equivalent Examination / Equivalent CGPA Examination or Tenth Level Examination with a minimum of 75% marks and are currently studying in class XI (Science / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics) in any school in West Bengal. Must read at least 3 subjects in Bioscience / Statistics / Computer Science).
(b) JBNSTS Junior Scholarship details
This JBNSTS Junior Talent Search Test Scholarship is awarded for 2 years. Students are given 2 years at 1250 rupees (one thousand two hundred and fifty) per month and 2 years at 2500 (two thousand five hundred) rupees per annum (Annual Book Grand).

Eligibility for JBNSTS Junior Talent Search Examination
Students will have to pass the 10th standard i.e. secondary examination or equivalent examination with 75% marks or equivalent CGPA.
The year in which the student is applying, that is, the year 2023 in any school in West Bengal in the eleventh class (XI) in the science stream (Science Stream). There should be at least 3 subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Statistics, Electronics, and Computer Science.
Students who have passed the secondary or equivalent examination before 2023 are not eligible to apply for this examination.
Amount of JBNSTS Junior Scholarship 2023
Scholarships are awarded for two years i.e. for Class XI (XI) and Class XII (XII).

After the announcement of the results of the 10th standard board examination, an advertisement with the advertisement date and examination details was given in the newspaper and on the website of JBNSTS (https://jbnsts.ac.in/).
You have to apply online from the website. There is no need to send any documents to the JBNSTS office for online application. Admit cards can be downloaded from the JBNSTS website.
