How to Book An Appointment For Aadhaar Card Updating?

People will be able to make appointments in advance. This will not make it difficult for Aadhaar enrollment and other services for updates. UIDAI plans to set up 114 Aadhaar Seva Kendras by the end of this year. “

UIDAI has issued a release in this regard. According to this, the centers will have 8 to 16 enrollment counters, 40 to 80 seats with a waiting area and an electronic token system among other facilities. Any Indian citizen can book an advance appointment online. Then one can go to the center as per convenience.

Overall, the Aadhaar Seva Kendras will function like Passport Seva Kendras (PSK). In PSK, you can book online appointments for all passport related services.

To avail the services related to Aadhaar, first you have to go to the UIDAI website. Existing, as well as new Aadhaar card applicants, can take an appointment for these services at Aadhaar Seva Kendra:

-New Aadhaar Enrollment

-Name update

-Address updates

-Mobile Number Update

-Email ID update

-Date update

-Gender update

-Biometric (photo + fingerprint + pupil) update

To book an online appointment for Aadhaar services, you have to take these seven steps:

Step 1: First of all go to UIDAI (https://uidai.gov.in/). Select the ‘My Aadhaar’ tab. Click on ‘Book n appointment’ from the drop-down menu.

Step 2: Now select ‘City / Location’ under the ‘Book an appointment at UIDAI run Aadhar service center’ header. 

Step 3: After selecting ‘City / Location’, a new page will open in front of you. After this, you will see options related to Aadhaar service on the page. These service options will include ‘New Aadhaar’, ‘Aadhaar Update’, or ‘Manage Appointments’.

Step 4: For example, assume that you have opted for ‘Aadhaar Update’. Then enter the registered mobile number, captcha code. A valid OTP will be generated after this. You have to verify your application by typing OTP. If you are applying for ‘New Aadhaar’ for the first time, you can also verify your new mobile number.

Step 5: After the successful verification of OTP, you will have to fill the detailed online form. In this form, the details of appointment details, personal details, time slots, etc. have to be filled. To continue the process of filling the details, you have to keep clicking on the ‘Next’ tab every time.

Step 6: After filling in the appointment and personal details, you have to select the time slot to book the appointment.

Step 7: Check your appointment details. If there is a problem, then you can correct the mistake by clicking on the ‘Previous’ tab. If the details are correct, then click on the ‘Submit’ tab. With this, online appointment will be booked.

Timing

You need to book an appointment by selecting a particular method and time slot. Aadhaar service centers will open six days a week from 9:30 am to 6 pm.

Charge
